Project Management Specialist 5Duration: 12 Months ContractLocation: El Segundo, CAClearance Required - Top Secret Clearance/SCI active clearance with in the last 12 months and in scope CI polygraph with in the last 5 years.Position Responsibilities:Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers.Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.Required Skills:Experience working with cross-functional teams across different geographic locations & time-zonesExperience working with program managers to develop & manager project schedule baselinesExperienced in managing complex integrated schedules, earned value management system (EVMS), using scheduling tools (ex. MS Project or Milestone Professional)Experience with managing and analyzing resource loaded schedulesPreferred Skills:10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceAgile / JIRA experienceExperience with early development programsIn scope CI polygraph
