Washington State Credit Resolution Representative

Researching billing and payment posting issues, the full-time Washington State Credit Resolution Representative will notify customers of findings, correct payment postings, and process refunds while working remotely from Washington State. Key responsibilities Investigate and resolve billing and payment posting issues initiated by patients and insurance carriers Correct payment postings, adjust accounts, and process refunds and contractual adjustments Balance reports and document findings in accordance with department policies and procedures Required qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent required; two years post high school education preferred Two years of work experience in cash posting, credits, or insurance billing in a healthcare environment required Knowledge of insurance claims processing and third-party reimbursement procedures preferred Ability to demonstrate initiative and accept responsibility in a team environment Experience dealing effectively with difficult situations and individuals
