Evaluating treatment plans for mental health and substance abuse, the full-time Washington Licensed Utilization Review Clinician will perform clinical reviews and assessments remotely, ensuring the appropriateness of care and services while participating in weekend and holiday rotations. Key responsibilities Conducts evaluations of members' treatment for mental health and substance abuse to ensure medical appropriateness Performs prior authorization reviews and concurrent reviews of behavioral health inpatient cases Provides education to providers, members, and families regarding the behavioral health utilization process Required qualifications Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of related experience Active Washington RN license or active Compact RN license required Master's degree for behavioral health clinicians preferred Licensure as LCSW, LMHC, LPC, LMFT, or LMHP required Clinical knowledge of mental health and substance abuse utilization review processes preferred
