Providing life-saving emotional support, the part-time and full-time Washington Licensed Crisis Specialist will offer empathetic crisis intervention via chat and text, conduct assessments, and collaborate with clinicians in a fully remote environment. Key responsibilities Provide empathetic, nonjudgmental crisis intervention via chat and SMS text Conduct suicide risk and behavioral health assessments and support de-escalation Develop safety and action plans with individuals in crisis and connect them to community resources Required qualifications High school diploma or GED plus four years of full-time behavioral health experience, or a combination of education and experience Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) credential required by the end of the probationary period Crisis intervention or suicide prevention experience Behavioral health or contact center experience Ability to remain focused during emotionally intense conversations
