Washington Licensed Coding Consultant

To support a growing healthcare practice, the full-time Coding Revenue Integrity Consultant will serve as the primary coding subject matter expert, providing leadership and guidance while working remotely on a contract basis. Key responsibilities Provide real-time support for complex coding questions and establish coding KPIs to drive performance accountability Identify missed revenue opportunities and develop actionable recommendations to capture additional revenue Design and deliver targeted training programs for coding staff and partner with client leadership to ensure alignment with organizational goals Required qualifications Associate's degree in health information management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience CPC, CCS, RHIT, or RHIA certification required Typically, 5+ years of advanced coding experience across multiple service lines Proven experience in denial analysis, revenue optimization, and client-facing consulting Strong understanding of end-to-end revenue cycle operations and expert knowledge of coding guidelines and compliance requirements
