Warehouse WorkerThis role supports an e-commerce distribution center by safely operating warehouse equipment to move, store, and prepare merchandise for shipment. You help ensure products are received, processed, and shipped in excellent condition, contributing directly to accurate order fulfillment and timely delivery to customers.ResponsibilitiesOperate a stand-up forklift with clamps for the majority of the shift to move and handle merchandise safely and efficiently.Unload merchandise from inbound trucks, process receipts, and verify that products are ready for storage or further handling.Stock received merchandise into specific designated warehouse locations according to established procedures.Locate specified products and process orders by moving merchandise from storage areas to the loading dock for outbound shipments.Pack smaller products into larger containers or cartons to prepare shipments for stores and other locations.Load merchandise onto trucks for outbound shipments, ensuring secure and accurate loading for company locations.Transport merchandise throughout the distribution center using appropriate material handling equipment and tools.Perform order picking, staging, loading, unloading, packing, and general labor tasks as needed to meet production goals.Use RF scanners and related technology to track inventory, confirm locations, and document order processing activities.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following housekeeping and safety guidelines throughout the shift.Complete all required paperwork and electronic documentation accurately and on time, including production and inventory records.Meet daily production and performance targets, with output tracked and monitored to ensure operational efficiency.Participate in orientation and training programs, including equipment training and in-house forklift certification.Follow all facility policies, dress code guidelines, and safety procedures, including proper use of provided gloves and equipment.Essential SkillsExperience with warehouse equipment operation, including stand-up forklifts with clamps.Ability to perform order picking, staging, loading, unloading, packing, and general material handling tasks.Comfort using RF scanners and related technology for inventory and order processing.Capability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment where output is tracked daily.Ability to stand or sit for extended periods during 10-hour shifts.Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with or without accommodation.Willingness to work 50–60 hours per week, including every other Saturday, on a 2nd shift starting at 3:00 p.m.Why Work Here?You join a collaborative, team-oriented environment that supports your growth and development in warehouse and logistics operations. The role is on 2nd shift with a 3:00 p.m. start time, typically running 10-hour shifts and totaling about 50–60 hours per week, including every other Saturday. The environment is production-oriented, with daily tracking of output, and involves operating stand-up forklifts with clamps, using RF scanners, and handling a variety of merchandise. Orientation takes place on Fridays, followed by a structured training period that includes in-house forklift certification and additional training school. The dress code is casual, with tennis shoes required; slippers, graphic T-shirts, and tank tops are not permitted. No special PPE is required, and gloves are provided to support safe handling of products.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Richfield, OH.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.65 - $21.65/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
