Warehouse WorkerThe Warehouse Worker plays a key role in the efficient handling, inspection, and preparation of furniture for shipping and restocking. This position focuses on loading and unloading trucks, verifying incoming products, and ensuring all items are properly cleaned, wrapped, and ready for distribution.ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload trucks with furniture safely and efficiently.Visually inspect furniture upon receipt and prior to shipment to identify damage or confirm items are suitable for restocking.Clean furniture before packaging to ensure items meet quality and presentation standards.Wrap furniture securely using bubble wrap and other appropriate materials to protect items during transit.Receive furniture shipments by counting items and verifying they match purchase orders (POs).Use RF scanners to track inventory and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing products.Handle materials, including moving, stacking, and organizing furniture and pallets within the warehouse.Prepare wrapped pallets and ensure all items are properly labeled and ready for shipping or storage.Support general shipping and receiving activities, including documentation and organization of furniture in designated areas.Follow warehouse safety procedures and maintain a clean, orderly work area.Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a climate-controlled warehouse equipped with central air conditioning and fans to maintain a comfortable temperature throughout the workday. The facility provides water stations for hydration, lockers for personal belongings, and a designated lunch area for breaks. The environment supports active, hands-on work with furniture and pallets, using standard warehouse equipment and RF scanners, while emphasizing safety, organization, and employee comfort.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hialeah, FL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
