Warehouse WorkerThe Warehouse Worker is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products. This role ensures the efficient handling of materials, maintains inventory accuracy, and upholds safety and quality standards in the warehouse environment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLoads raw material or finished product on skid or hand truck.Preserves a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area and workstations neat.Uses tools such as hammers and crowbars to remove strapping and open crates/boxes.Assists with product repair.Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the work area supervisor.Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.Follows prescribed safety regulations and complies with all Company and OSHA Safety and Health rules.Proactively works to assist others in achieving the organizations objectives.Strap and secure goods to pallet.Receives, inspects, and sorts new inventory with RF scanner.Operates, monitors, and troubleshoots a stretch wrap machine.Required QualificationsAbility to be flexible and adapt to change.Excellent verbal communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Good math and written communication skills.Efficient time management skills.Ability to thrive in a team environment.Knowledge of basic manufacturing, warehousing, or shipping operations required.High school diploma or equivalent required.At least two years of related experience required.Scan gun experience a plus.Physical DemandsMust be able to lift up to 55 pounds at a time.Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.Must wear proper safety gear such as closed toe shoes.Ability to work in non-climate-controlled warehouse environment in extreme weather conditions, and with frequent noise and dust.Work EnvironmentWork is performed in a warehouse setting with varying temperatures.Exposure to loud noise, dust, and moving machinery.Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.May be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.Equipment UsedForklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.Scanners and inventory management systems.Hand tools and packaging equipment.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but may assist in training new warehouse staff as needed.Benefits OfferedMedical/Dental/Vision Insurance- First of the month after 30 days of employment401K with company matchPTO and Holiday eligibility on the date of hireWeekly PayFull Grant Tuition & Tuition Reimbursement
