Warehouse Loader
The Warehouse Loader is responsible for loading and unloading goods, organizing inventory, and preparing shipments for delivery. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to follow safety procedures to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and delivery vehicles
- Move, stack, and organize products in designated warehouse areas
- Prepare orders for shipment by sorting, labeling, and packaging items
- Inspect goods for damage and report issues to supervisors
- Follow safety guidelines when lifting, moving, and handling materials
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized
- Work as part of a team to meet daily shipping and receiving goals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (often up to 40–50 lbs)
- Basic math and reading skills
- Ability to follow instructions and safety rules
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements
- Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods
- Manual handling of packages and materials
- Ability to work in varying temperatures (depending on warehouse type)
