This role serves as the CDC subject matter expert for onboarding, process training, leadership development, and operational standardization. The Training Supervisor partners with Operations, Safety, Inventory Control, Transportation, Inbound, Outbound, Wire, and Automation teams to drive operational excellence, improve associate performance, reduce process variation, and build a stronger internal talent pipeline.Key ResponsibilitiesTraining & Development: Own and continuously improve all CDC onboarding and role-based training programs. Develop, update, and maintain standardized training materials, SOPs, work instructions, checklists, and certification documents. Coordinate training for receiving and put-away, picking, packing, loadout and shipping, inventory control, wire operations, transportation, and automation systems. Build and maintain department skill matrices and cross-training plans to improve labor flexibility and shift coverage.Associate Onboarding: Lead new-hire orientation and CDC facility onboarding. Ensure associates complete all required safety, operational, equipment, and system training before being released to independent work. Track onboarding progress through 30-, 60-, and 90-day milestones. Partner with department leaders to validate readiness, productivity, work quality, and safe work behaviors.Operational Excellence: Conduct process observations, training audits, and follow-up validations across all shifts. Identify training gaps tied to productivity misses, safety incidents, inventory errors, shipping defects, customer service failures, or repeat process breakdowns. Develop corrective training plans and refresher training to address performance gaps. Support continuous improvement initiatives and reinforce standard work expectations.Leadership Development: Facilitate training paths for Leads, Supervisors, and emerging leaders. Support succession planning by identifying and developing high-potential associates. Assist leaders with coaching, accountability conversations, and performance development routines. Create structured training paths that prepare associates for expanded responsibility.Safety & Compliance: Ensure all operational training reflects company safety expectations and site-specific requirements. Coordinate forklift, PIT, lockout/tagout, PPE, equipment, and other compliance-related certifications as applicable. Partner with Safety Leadership during incident reviews and corrective action follow-up. Maintain training compliance records and audit-ready documentation.Training Administration: Maintain accurate training records, certifications, recertification schedules, and completion documentation. Track training completion rates, overdue requirements, and compliance gaps. Publish routine training metrics and updates for CDC leadership. Manage LMS records or other training tracking tools, where applicable.Qualifications3–5 years of warehouse, distribution, logistics, or operations experience. 2+ years of training, supervision, lead, or leadership experience.

Experience in high-volume distribution center operations preferred.

Experience with WMS systems, RF scanning, warehouse automation, and LMS/training tracking tools preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong facilitation, communication, presentation, and coaching skills. Ability to train individuals, small teams, and large groups across multiple shifts. Strong understanding of warehouse operations, standard work, SOP adherence, and safety compliance. Ability to analyze performance gaps and translate findings into practical training solutions.
