Warehouse SupervisorThe Warehouse Supervisor position is responsible for the efficient coordination of team members aiming to maintain the efficiency of receiving, storing, testing, inventory and shipping products in a continuous improvement-based environment, while also creating and maintaining a safe work environment. This is to be accomplished through directing and monitoring the activities of employees; effective leadership, coaching and development of individuals; and through building team dynamics targeting receiving, storing, testing, inventory and shipping techniques.Supervises and monitors the activities of employees working in all Manufacturing Warehouse AreasEnsures that behaviors, practices and the work environment support a safe workplace by enforcing safety and sanitation rules and principlesEnsures and monitors receiving, storage and distribution efficiencyUtilizes metrics/data to evaluate and improve Receiving, Storage and Distribution methods/standardsInspects Receiving and Material Storage processes to detect defects or malfunctionsDevelops and implements receiving, storing, inventory and distribution improvement plansPlans and establishes work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet performance standardsTranslates schedules to receiving, storing, and distribution requirementsUtilizes standard work processes to ensure repeatable performanceMonitors goals and levels to make sure they are consistent with performance standardsConfers with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departmentsTracks employees' work performance and attendance to ensure performance metrics are metDirects employees involved in the receiving, material storage, inventory and distributing processesRecognize what to do in the event of an injury or incidentPlans, develops, and implements warehouse safety and security programs and activitiesEnsures that behaviors, practices and the work environment support a safe workplace by enforcing safety and sanitation rules and principles.Qualifications4-year degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business preferred2+ years of experience in a warehouse management or supervision role, preferably in the food processing industryWe are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.Pay Range Salary Range: USD $24.00/Hr. - USD $26.00/Hr.
