This organization operates a large-scale industrial production facility and is committed to operational excellence, employee safety, and continuous improvement.We're looking for an experienced warehouse leader who enjoys building efficient processes, developing high-performing teams, and maintaining best-in-class inventory and receiving operations.The Warehouse Supervisor – Receiving is responsible for leading all receiving operations at a large industrial manufacturing facility. This role ensures inbound materials are received accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company procedures while maintaining inventory integrity and supporting uninterrupted production.The successful candidate will oversee warehouse personnel, establish consistent operating procedures, and help drive safe, reliable, 24/7 warehouse operations.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess ERP inventory transactions accurately to maintain inventory integrity.Ensure all inbound materials are received and processed within established timelines to prevent material backlogs.Maintain compliance with internal controls, safety regulations, and environmental standards.Verify Purchase Orders (POs), Bills of Lading (BOLs), and received materials for accuracy.Coordinate with Accounts Payable to resolve receiving discrepancies and invoice issues.Ensure all incoming materials are properly labeled with required inventory information.Verify shift readiness, including PPE compliance and attendance.Support inventory control activities including cycle counts, variance investigations, and inventory adjustments.Investigate and document receiving discrepancies using detailed notes, photographs, and system documentation.Maintain discrepancy logs and partner with Procurement to resolve material issues.Coordinate inbound delivery schedules to maximize warehouse efficiency and material flow.Manage damaged materials, spills, and other receiving-related incidents while ensuring proper documentation and corrective actions.Conduct regular warehouse inspections to support housekeeping, safety, and operational standards.Serve as the primary resource for receiving operations and warehouse best practices.Lead daily receiving activities, assign workloads, and monitor team performance.Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.Perform additional duties as assigned.QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and progressive warehouse leadership experience.Minimum 3 years of warehouse supervisory experience.Demonstrated success leading warehouse teams, managing schedules, coaching employees, and driving operational performance.Experience using ERP/MRP systems (SAP experience preferred).Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.Proficiency with Microsoft Office.Ability to operate forklifts and obtain required certifications.PreferredExperience within one or more of the following industries:MiningHeavy industrial manufacturingChemical processingMetals manufacturingConstruction materialsIndustrial processingKnowledge of:OSHA regulationsDOT regulationsHazardous material handlingSafety Data Sheets (SDS)Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) standardsCompensationSalary: $90,000 – $110,000Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, education, and overall fit for the position.Why Join?Opportunity to work for a rapidly growing industrial manufacturerLeadership role with significant operational responsibilityCompetitive compensation and benefitsStable, long-term career growthSafety-focused, team-oriented cultureOpportunity to help improve warehouse operations through process excellence and continuous improvementEqual Opportunity EmployerOur client is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to creating an inclusive workplace.
