This position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that's constantly evolving.Main responsibilities:As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising shift employees engaged in warehouse operations, food processing support, and sanitation activities. This includes overseeing both manual and equipment-based processes to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.This position is located in San Leandro, CA.Build and develop a high-performing team by establishing accountability, setting expectations, and fostering engagementFoster a work environment that promotes trust, teamwork, safety, and quality, aligned with company values and operational standardsPlan, lead, and direct all shipping and warehouse activities on the assigned shift, providing clear direction and timely feedback to employeesMaintain overall accountability for shift performance, ensuring all processes are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with established standardsOversee warehouse operations, including receiving, ordering, inventory processing, storage, sanitation, and shipping of materials and finished goodsCoordinate and manage staffing, scheduling, and material planning to support operational and production needsPlan, delegate, and monitor work assignments and special projects to ensure timely and accurate completionEnsure all products and processes meet quality standards and comply with company, federal, and state regulationsMaintain compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, including OSHA, EPA, FDA, USDA, HACCP, and company policiesManage performance against budgeted targets, including labor productivity, waste reduction, and operational efficiency.Utilize technology, systems, and Lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement and optimize workflowsIdentify and implement cost-saving and efficiency improvement opportunitiesThis position may require evening, night, weekend and holiday shifts.We are looking for candidates who possess the following:Strong ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.Proven time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlinesProficiency of Microsoft Office applications with the ability to quickly learn additional business systems.We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience:4-year college degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred1-5 years of experience in a warehouse, production or manufacturing environmentDemonstrated understanding of production, operations and manufacturing processes.Proven ability to lead, manage and develop employeesWorking knowledge of equipment and maintenance operationsWe also provide a variety of benefits including:Competitive wages paid weeklyAccess to up to 50% of your earned wages before payday, via our partnership with StreamAssociate discountsHealth and financial well-being benefits for eligible associates (Medical, Dental, 401k and more!)Time off (vacation, holidays, sick pay).
