Showroom ManagerThis position is responsible for showroom appearance, merchandise movement, and loading/unloading vehicles with merchandise as well as directing daily tasks of warehouse associates.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Cleans Clearance Center when Housekeeper not on duty: Vacuums, dusting, cleans glass, cleans water fountain, cleans all A/C vents, cleans all sales stations/Kiosks, fluffs pillows, sweeps, mops, polishing floors with use of buffer, trash removal, cleans mirrors/windows, cleans break room area (including soda machines and refrigerators), and cleans bathrooms (including toilets, urinals and sinks - ensures each bathroom stall has adequate supplies including: toilet paper, ensures each sink area has paper towels and soap)Supervises the tasks of 8 or more warehouse associates and warehouse lead associatesFollows company policies/proceduresMoves and assembles merchandise as needed (includes picture display, merchandise packaging, following load out procedures to customer, and unloading trucks)Patches and paints when needed especially when pictures are moved and replaces lightbulbs as neededAchieves a maintenance score 85 or higherUnloads/loads vehicles without damaging merchandise, following safety guidelines and following load out procedures without damaging customer vehiclesPortrays professional customer service and communication with customers, merchandisers, co-workers and managementCommunicates with office/sales and takes direction from merchandisingParking lot maintenance includes: Surveys parking lot for trash, removes trash from parking lot, and maintains dumpster areaStocks and orders supplies to keep supply area clean and organizedReceives product in computerCompletes various reports for operational functionalityPulls merchandise and puts into cage for deliveries (if the clearance center does deliveries)Performs other duties as requiredEssential RequirementsGood verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with customers, managers, and other associatesGood customer service skills preferred including handling difficult customers professionally and following up, as neededGood leadership and teamwork, courteous and helpful with staff, contributes to a positive work environmentGood organizational skills preferred with ability to handle multiple priorities, meet demanding deadlines and adjust to sudden changes in workflowAbility to keep customer information in a confidential and private mannerRooms To Go Benefits:Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchAssociate discounts including furnitureCompany paid life and disability insurancePaid time offEmployee Assistance ProgramWellness ProgramsAnd more!Rooms To Go is an equal opportunity employer.
