Warehouse SupervisorUnder the direction of the Warehouse Manager responsible for staff training in accordance with the SOP requirements, competent in executing cycle count management and investigation to reconcile adjustments, monitor facility supplies of consumable materials and reorder as needed. Knowledgeable of all warehouse functions and processes, and active participant of daily activities. Provides oversight to warehouse activities in the absence of the Warehouse Manager. Position may have responsibility for direct reports and/or ADP approvals. The Warehouse Manager will identify direct reports based on the Supervisor's departmental competencies and skills.Essential FunctionsProvide staff training for all essential position duties using the SOP requirements.
Responsible for competency of staff's ability to execute SOPs and ensure all competent staff members have signed the SOP document. Additional training of staff may be required where SOPs are not written. All training will be audited and approved by the site Warehouse Manager.At the discretion of the Warehouse Manager and Vice President of Operations, Supervisor may be assigned direct reports and/or ADP approvals.Responsible for managing the facility's cycle count program, investigate items needing adjustment in a timely manner, and reconcile adjustments needed. Handle the day to day adjustments in the same timely manner.Provides oversight to daily warehouse activities in the absence of the Warehouse Manager. Ensures all position functions executed by staff are in accordance with SOP standards.
Direct staff to complete daily receiving and shipping duties and ensure customer orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner. Execute other essential duties typically performed by the Warehouse Manager.At the discretion of the Warehouse Manager, the Supervisor may be required to monitor the facility's consumable materials to include but not limited to shipping boxes, janitorial, sanitation, and office supplies. Order to replenish consumables as needed to provide a consistent inventory avoiding stock outages.All communications directed to staff shall be conducted in a respectful and professional manner.
