This role supports a range of warehouse operations and special initiatives to keep things running smoothly and efficiently.Shift Time: 9AM - 6PM, Monday to FridayIn This RolePerform order picking duties efficientlyLoad and unload containers and trucks, ensuring careful handling of materialsOrganize and transfer finished materials to their designated storage locations within the warehouseIdentify items across various documentation sources, such as customer orders, labels, manifests, packing lists, stock receipts, and bill of ladingsAssist with the setup of the retail showroom as neededSupport the photography team with furniture assembly and setupMaintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment, adhering to safety protocols and company policiesMeet productivity requirements while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiencyOther duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualificationsUphold the Core Values and be a valuable member of the Four Hands TeamBe open and honestReach for excellenceAct with responsibilityValue the whole personEnjoy the journeyThe Ideal Person1+ year of experience in warehouse/distribution center operationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredBasic computer skills, including familiarity with warehouse management systems, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookPhysical ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and maneuver items up to 225 lbs with assistanceComfortable with continuous walking, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, and reaching for up to 8 hours per day in a warehouse environmentWillingness to work overtime as neededSteel-toed boots or shoes are required during work hoursHeadquartered in Austin, Texas, since 1996, Four Hands crafts furniture, art and décor — pieces that are all about creating space.
