Shift: Mon - Fri (8:30am - 5:30pm)
Coastal Employment is currently seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Associate on behalf of one of our valued electrical supply clients in Orlando, FL . This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse experience who enjoys staying active, working with a team, and providing excellent service to contractors and customers.
The ideal candidate will have forklift experience , a strong work ethic, and a willingness to step in wherever needed to help the team succeed. This position will primarily focus on warehouse operations, order pulling, material handling, and preparing electrical supplies for delivery. At times, the Warehouse Associate may also assist with deliveries or help the counter team during busy morning and afternoon rush periods.

Key Responsibilities
- Pull, stage, and prepare customer orders for delivery.
- Safely operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
- Load and unload materials, products, and electrical supplies.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse to ensure products are easily accessible.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and putting away incoming inventory.
- Double-check orders for accuracy before they are loaded for delivery.
- Assist contractors and customers when the counter area becomes busy.
- Provide support during peak morning and afternoon rush periods.
- Be willing to assist with deliveries when needed and help cover the team during busy periods.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and proper material-handling practices.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse, counter sales, and delivery team members.
- Perform other warehouse and team-support duties as needed.
- Previous warehouse, electrical supply, distribution, or material-handling experience preferred but not required.
- Must be able to safely operate a forklift.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to pull orders accurately.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to assist outside of the normal warehouse duties when the business needs additional support.
- Must be able to safely lift, move, and handle warehouse materials.
- A valid driver's license and good driving record may be required for delivery support.
