Right Price.Warehouse/Distribution OperatorDuration: 12 months Contract Location: Indianapolis, IN 46168Position Summary: Support the order processing function (i.e., picking, packing, shipping, etc.). Receive and put away manufactured products or raw materials, including unloading trucks, verifying quantities received, and entering receipts into a warehouse management system (WMS).
Pick and pack customer orders utilizing the warehouse computerized management system while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.Responsibilities:Support order processing functions including picking, packing, and shippingReceive and put away manufactured products and raw materialsUnload trucks, verify quantities received, and enter receipts into WMSPick and pack customer orders using the warehouse management systemPerform other warehouse functions such as cycle counting and processing material for destructionFollow all applicable laws and regulations (OSHA, FDA, DEA, etc.)Perform daily general cleaning of work areaMaintain punctuality and availability for scheduled shiftsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required5–7 years of experience within a distribution warehouse environmentExperience working with electronic warehouse management systems (EWM) such as SAP, Exacta, and RF scanners3–5 years' experience operating Powered Industrial Trucks (swing reach truck, stand-up, cherry picker, rider pallet jack, sit-down forklift); role requires use of two or more typesDemonstrated accuracy and strong attention to detailFlexibility and willingness to cross-train on multiple assignmentsWillingness to work overtime with little to no noticeReliable with strong attendance historyBasic computer skills with ability to learn additional systemsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentWillingness to work in a chilled environment (36–46°F)Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 40 lbsWhy Work With Us?We believe in more than just jobs—we build careers.
