Whether you will spend your day brainstorming in an office cubicle, operating a crane, running manufacturing equipment or troubleshooting technical obstacles, at CMC, you'll get the training and support from your team that you need to excel in your role and reach your full potential.What You'll Do:Operate a forklift to move material and supplies as requiredRead customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shippedAssemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets, shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping departmentAssist in filling work/shipping ordersAssist in performing inventory on materialsAssist in unloading and loading of material for customersInspect outgoing material for accuracySort and place materials and items on racks, shelves or bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product codeOther duties as assigned in general support of the organizationWhat You'll Need:1+ year(s) forklift / loader experienceAbility to work in uncontrolled climate environment and in the elementsAbility to lift to 50 pounds, climb ladders and stairs, and stand for extended periods of timeAbility to multi-task and manage time requiredAbility to communicate with customers, employees, and business leadersMust be able to read, write, and communicate in EnglishComply with OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies, rules, and regulationsAbility to be flexible, a team player and interact professionally with employees as well as external contactsAble to work overtime as business requiresYour Education: High School Diploma or GED preferredWe are CMC, a Fortune 500® company at the leading edge of our industry.
