Warehouse Operations SupervisorThe Warehouse Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing multiple warehouse functions and leading daily operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, safety, and exceptional customer service. This position provides leadership for shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment activities while supporting operational goals across distribution, surplus, repair, and small-parts divisions.The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can effectively manage people and processes, and is committed to maintaining a safe, organized, and productive warehouse operation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise warehouse personnel across shipping, receiving, inventory, and fulfillment operationsEnsure warehouse inventory is stored, organized, and maintained efficientlyOversee daily staffing levels and scheduling to meet operational demandsManage workloads and priorities to ensure timely completion of all warehouse activitiesMonitor labor utilization and overtime to ensure efficient resource managementDrive departmental performance and achievement of operational goals and budgetsMaintain clean, organized, and efficient warehouse and storage areasEnsure accurate and timely receiving, stocking, and processing of incoming inventoryOversee order fulfillment activities for Distribution, FNFP, Surplus, Small Parts, and Repair divisionsEnsure accurate picking, packing, staging, and shipment of customer ordersMonitor and improve inventory accuracy through reconciliation, auditing, and cycle count processesInvestigate and resolve inventory, shipping, receiving, and fulfillment discrepanciesImplement and maintain warehouse best practices and continuous improvement initiativesCollaborate with Operations, Production, Inventory, and Customer Service teams to support business objectivesPerform other duties, tasks, or work as assignedSafety ResponsibilitiesPromote and maintain a strong safety culture throughout the warehouse. Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and company safety policies. Conduct ongoing safety training and employee awareness initiatives. Identify and address workplace hazards proactively. Ensure proper use of warehouse equipment and personal protective equipment.Metrics & Performance MeasurementsAchievement of warehouse productivity, accuracy, and service-level goals. Inventory accuracy and reconciliation performance. On-time receiving and order fulfillment metrics. Departmental performance against established objectives and quarterly goals. Successful management of daily operational demands and special projects.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesShipping & Receiving Team.

Parts Department Team. Additional warehouse personnel as assigned.QualificationsPrior warehouse supervisory or leadership experience required. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy and accountability. Computer literate and comfortable working with warehouse management systems. Technical aptitude and operational awareness preferred.Knowledge & Skills RequiredStrong computer proficiency. Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail. Excellent problem-solving abilities.

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to lead, coach, and develop employees. Understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and fulfillment processes.Education & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent required. Warehouse, logistics, inventory, or distribution experience preferred. Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred.Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsForklift certification as required.Physical DemandsOccasional sitting, reaching, working overhead, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Frequent walking throughout warehouse facilities. Continuous standing and repetitive hand motion. Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds. Occasional lifting up to 100 pounds. Continuous lifting up to 10 pounds.Compensation & BonusCompensation is based on experience, skills, and overall qualifications.
