Warehouse Operations Lead – Evening/Weekend

Location: USA – Lakeland, FL

A Day in the Life

In the position of Lead, Operations you will oversee staff and ensure daily tasks are completed in a timely and safe manner. You will verify and maintain records on all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensure an accurate inventory by following policy and procedures, and possess the ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.

The Impact You’ll Make

• Inspect incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
• Examine outgoing shipments to ensure both are correct and meet specifications.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Assign and perform daily cycle counts to guarantee an accurate and consistent inventory.
• Support team when required by assembling hoses to meet customer/stocking needs.
• Project a positive company image by interacting with fellow employees, customers, and management in a cooperative, supportive, and courteous manner, while displaying a professional attitude and complying with company policies and procedures.
• Supervise warehouse staff and monitor performance on assigned daily tasks.
• Maintain office functions including filing, billing, and matching receiving paperwork.

Who You Are

• Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in Business, General Management, or a related field of study.
• Experience Desired: 1–3 years in shipping and receiving.
• Additional Experience Desired: 1–3 years in general warehouse operations.
• Computer Skills Desired: Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Additional Knowledge or Skills: Understanding of safe warehouse practices and systems.
• Tentative Schedule: Friday – Sunday, 5:30 am – 6 pm.

Pay Range

$22 – $29 per hour.
