Warehouse Material Handler - Plastics (Days)12-hour Day Shift - 6am - 6pmAssist warehouse activities during times when askedIdentify issues and perform corrective actions.Work in accordance with set departmental/company 12-hour schedule.Assist colleagues when necessary to ensure a smooth running of the warehouseProvide recommendations on process improvementsAssist with continuous improvement initiatives implementationPerform specific approved operator level equipment maintenanceExecute PPE safety standards while ensuring escalation of issues such as the adherence to PPE.Monitor departmental 5S activities, ensuring compliance and standards are metEnsure all warehouse documentation applicable to the job is completed in a timely, accurate mannerTransport and/or facilitate the movement of material between warehouses and to production and quality.Report any safety, quality and productivity issues to supervisors and managersMake sure operators are properly using tools and equipment while escalating damage or non-adherenceEnsuring that L2 (MH) line clearance procedures are adhered toEnsure all scrap procedures are being adhered toMaintain proper storage of materials and indirect suppliesVerify Goods Received (GR) process steps are being accurately followedMake sure materials are being staged properly and FIFO (First-In-First-Out) is being followedCover and assist L1 (Packer) and L2 (Material Handler) when short staffed or neededHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to frequently lift up to 55 lbs.Sitting and Standing over differing long periods of timeDaily warehouse cleaning tasks and 5s activitiesExcellent communication skillsWell organized with strong attention to detailAbility to operate a forklift (experience with other powered equipment a plus)Commitment to getting tasks done in a timely, accurate manner.Ability to perform material handler and packer responsibilitiesExperience in inventory best practicesComputer skills, including Microsoft Office applications required and SAP experienceAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.At Nemera, we prioritize patients when creating drug delivery devices, understanding that accurate dosing and ergonomics are crucial for treatment adherence.
