Warehouse Associate/Materials HandlerThe Warehouse Associate/Materials Handler assists in the day-to-day activities relating to inventory control functions supporting pharmaceutical fill/finish operations. The main responsibility of this position is to assist with all aspects of logistics such as receiving, shipping, data entry, inventory control, labeling and maintaining all associated cGMP documentation as needed. Additional responsibilities include creating and updating log sheets and inventory cards, shipping activities, and all inventory movement functions including updating databases, labeling and maintaining all associated cGMP documentation.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned.Adhere to cGMP guidelines and GDP principles to maintain a high level of integrity and compliance with USP and Annex 1 regulationsComplete all required SOP training and documentationPerform routine cleaning and maintenance of shipping and receiving locations ensuring organization, labeling, and segregation of materials based upon current statusPerform incoming receipt of materials by inspecting shipments, verifying proper documentation per internal specifications, storage, and inventory control.Load and unload trucks using a hand pallet jackCarefully package critical life altering drugs for final shipment ensuring accuracy, accountability, and safety of the product. Includes using temperature monitoring packaging and devices to ensure product maintains critical attributes per material SDS, IATA, DOT, and dangerous goods requirementsProgram and download temperature monitoring devicesContact, set up, and manage outgoing shipments using approved shipping vendorsComplete inventory transactions in a timely and accurate manner, using paper and computer-based systemsForklift or PIT certified, or ability to be trained or certifiedOperate a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) safely in accordance with company and OSHA requirementsPick materials for general use and production activities with strong attention to detail for FEFO/FIFO requirements per the Batch Record, then secure and transport them between warehouses efficiently and in an organized mannerComplete required safety walkthroughs, maintaining a high level of safety requirementsMaintain various databases for shipments, receipts, and inventory management in a timely and accurate mannerMaintain expired and non-conforming inventory segregation and destruction based upon SOPsDrive a box truck on public roads in accordance with all transportation and safety requirementsOther duties as assignedSpecial Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
