Responsibilities
- Develop logistic program operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; developing, implementing, enforcing, and evaluating policies and procedures; developing processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.
- Develop project site layout design, product flow, and product handling systems, evaluating, and recommending new equipment.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
- Secure property by developing protection and access policies and procedures, coordinating patrols with the security department.
- Actively maintain a detailed inventory log of equipment and material contained on the project site.
- Coordinate with multiple vendors (including manufacturers and distributors) to arrange deliveries on a consistent schedule.
- Establish a consistent delivery schedule with a 3‑week look‑ahead for material needed on the project.
- Perform quality checks of all material that enters and exits the project site; coordinate with QC and production to ensure identification, segregation, and proper disposition of non-conforming material (RMA, RTV, Purges, Holds, etc.).
- Implement MCD and contractual obligations toward the management of Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE).
- Attend weekly project team meetings to understand the needs of job sites; coordinate and communicate with project superintendents, project managers, and project engineers who have material stored in the warehouse.
- Coordinate closely with personnel at MMEP to ensure that material is transferred (with documentation) to MMEP; document, implement, and maintain controls applicable to ISO 9001, ISO 27001, CMMI, and UL standards.
- Maintain secure storage of certain material to meet client material security requirements; understand project job requirements and be able to compare material received against specific project requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, finance, business administration, or a relevant discipline. Relevant experience in lieu of a degree will also be accepted.
- Five or more years of experience in logistics/supply‑chain management with a Bachelor's degree.
- Experience managing processes and inventory cycle counting; proficient in MS Excel; able to analyze information.
- Ability to travel locally with personal transportation.
