Warehouse Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire

Compensation: $85,000–$95,000 Base + Bonus Potential

Legacy Placement Partners is partnering with a growing industrial organization to identify an experienced Warehouse Manager for its Tulsa operation.

This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping, receiving, logistics, safety, team performance, and continuous improvement .

The ideal candidate is a strong people leader who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing or industrial environment and has a proven ability to improve warehouse efficiency, maintain inventory accuracy, develop teams, and drive accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, material handling, shipping, and logistics
• Lead, coach, train, and develop warehouse personnel
• Establish and monitor KPIs related to inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, productivity, safety, and on‑time delivery
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting, audits, and process controls
• Oversee inventory transactions and material movement within ERP/WMS systems
• Manage inbound and outbound shipping and receiving operations
• Coordinate transportation providers and freight carriers
• Ensure timely and accurate customer shipments and supplier receipts
• Partner with purchasing, production, planning, and supply chain teams to ensure material availability
• Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, stockouts, and workflow issues
• Recruit, train, evaluate, and develop warehouse employees
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels to support operational needs
• Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and company safety policies
• Lead warehouse safety initiatives, audits, and corrective actions
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Use operational data and metrics to improve productivity, throughput, accuracy, and cost effectiveness
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse leadership experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environment
• 3+ years of direct people-management experience
• Strong experience with inventory control, cycle counting, and inventory accuracy
• Hands‑on knowledge of shipping and receiving operations
• Experience managing warehouse operations, material handling, and logistics
• Experience using an ERP and/or Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop warehouse employees
• Experience tracking and improving warehouse KPIs Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and OSHA requirements
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• Experience working cross‑functionally with purchasing, production, planning, and/or supply chain
