A medical device manufacturer in Rush, NY is looking for a Warehouse Manager on a contract basis. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and day-to-day team activity for the duration of the engagement.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
- Manage inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and location control
- Supervise and direct warehouse associates to meet throughput and accuracy targets
- Maintain safety, housekeeping, and compliance standards
- Use SAP WMS to manage transactions, inventory movements, and reporting
- Identify process improvements and support the transition of operational workflows
Qualifications
- Prior experience managing warehouse operations, ideally in a manufacturing or medical device environment
- Hands-on working knowledge of SAP WMS
- Experience leading and developing a warehouse team
- Familiarity with inventory control and cycle counting practices
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work onsite in Rush, NY
Preferred
- Experience in a regulated industry such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or food
- Background with lean or continuous improvement methods
