Seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead a team of 4 direct and 40+ indirect reports, who will oversee the Warehouse department and play a key role in driving operational excellence across all factory and third-party warehouse operations. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for an experienced SAP professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You'll drive key performance goals and set high standards for quality, speed, and accuracy while overseeing warehouse operations, third-party contracts, customer communication, maintenance, safety, security, recordkeeping, and inventory control.
Responsibilities
- Manage the factory warehouse, third-party warehouses, and applicable contracts, including inspecting facilities, equipment, products, and supplies and ordering testing, maintenance, repairs, or replacements as needed.
- Lead daily shipping, receiving, and inventory operations through supervisors and leads, serving as the liaison between manufacturing and customer service to deliver a high level of internal and external customer service.
- Own inventory controls, including returns, product damage, scanning accuracy, inventory balances, transfers, and physical inventories.
- Define and track metrics for internal and external warehouse personnel, deliver electronic reporting, prepare and manage departmental budgets, and implement warehouse best practices.
- Interview, select, and train warehouse and supervisory employees, and plan and enforce safety, security, OSHA, and Food Safety compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a manager role
- 5+ years' of warehouse leadership experience
- Proficient in SAP
- Must have a valid forklift certification
