ProspectBlue is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations in Dinwiddie, VA!
We're looking for a Warehouse Manager to lead all aspects of our warehouse operations — inbound and outbound logistics, inventory control, and team leadership — with a strong focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end warehouse operations: receiving, storage, pick/pack, dispatch, and returns
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean, 5S, Kaizen, or Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and improve throughput
- Develop and maintain SOPs to ensure consistency and compliance across warehouse activities
- Optimize warehouse layout and flow to maximize space and performance
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and root cause analysis
- Manage stock replenishment and slow-moving/obsolete inventory in coordination with procurement
- Champion a safety-first culture, including audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing warehouse team, including scheduling and workforce planning
- Track and report on KPIs like throughput, accuracy, on-time dispatch, and cost per unit
- Manage warehouse budget and identify cost savings without compromising service
What You Bring
- Proven experience leading warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution or logistics environment
- Experience with Operational Excellence methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen); certification a plus
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office; ERP experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field — equivalent experience considered
