Warehouse Manager Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the organization, accountability, inventory, and distribution of company tools, equipment, and warehouse materials
- Ensure crews have the tools and supplies they need to complete projects efficiently while maintaining accurate inventory records for all company-owned tools and equipment and managing warehouse operations
- Manage all shared tools, equipment, and materials stored in the warehouse
- Track and manage small hand tools and small engine equipment assigned to crew trucks
- Maintain inventory and organization of all jobsite Conex boxes
- Perform weekly inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records
- Order tools, equipment, and supplies from approved vendors as needed
- Create and manage purchase orders while ensuring cost-effective purchasing
- Coordinate the repair, maintenance, and replacement of damaged or missing tools
- Ensure tools and equipment are clean, operational, and ready for field use
- Organize the warehouse for safe, efficient storage and retrieval of materials
- Manage and supervise warehouse runners, including scheduling, daily assignments, productivity, and time management
- Coordinate deliveries and pickups between the warehouse, vendors, and job sites
- Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and field crews to meet project needs
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment while following company safety policies
Position Requirements Include:
- Previous experience in warehouse management, construction logistics, or inventory control required
- 3–5 years of warehouse, inventory, or construction equipment management experience preferred
- Experience supervising warehouse personnel or runners preferred
- Background in pipe construction or general construction preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and materials
- Experience managing inventory systems and maintaining accurate records
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (or willingness to become certified)
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory management software is a plus
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Familiarity with pipe construction operations, fleet support, and jobsite logistics
- Physical Requirements Include:
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday
