A client of I.K. Hofmann's within the global freight forwarding and logistics industry is looking for a Warehouse Manager. This individual will manage a warehouse staff of 9 people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing daily air export warehouse operations, cargo acceptance, and buildup/breakdown procedures
- Ensuring strict compliance with TSA, FAA, and Dangerous Goods/Hazmat regulations
- Managing warehouse staff (approximately 9 forklift operators / general warehouse employees), workflow schedules, and cross-functional communication with export operations teams
Qualifications:
- Ability to operate forklift / forklift certified
- Ability to commute to and from Inglewood, CA, each day
- Warehouse management experience
- Prior experience in freight forwarding / air cargo logistics
- Ability to work 45-50 hours per week (5-10 OT hours per week)
