Warehouse ManagerThe Warehouse Manager is responsible for the supervision of the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, tools, equipment, and products in all TAS facilities and 3rd Party vendors.Key Job Responsibilities:Oversee warehouse and inventory management across multiple facilities in the Houston metropolitan area.Responsible for receiving, storing, fulfilling production requirements, transfers between TAS sites, 3rd party vendors, and shipments to Customer site.Supervise and train warehouse associates in material handling and identification.Get a full understanding of TAS processes, analyze them, and suggest process improvements as needed.Prioritize workload within the warehouses.Participate in Lean/Kaizen, Black Belt, and other Operational Excellence initiatives.Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for TAS employees and visitors.Identify and address all safety hazards within the work area.Ensures processes are developed and followed.Perform 5S activities as required.Document requirements and works with IT to enhance ERP functionalities to improve efficiencies and simplify warehouse transactions.Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements.Create training materials and maintain training records for all warehouse employees.Assist in the recruitment of warehouse personnel.Accurately stock material physically and electronically into proper warehouse bin locations.Implement Cycle count programs and establish goals for cycle count completion, and inventory accuracy.Job requires intense interaction with companies' ERP & Warehouse Management Systems, as well as working with other departments.Responsible for planning and executing Annual Physical inventory.Any other duties as assigned by TASJob SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to manage and develop warehouse staff.Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controlsAbility to write routine reports and correspondence.Requires intense interaction with LN & Warehouse Management Systems.Proficient computer skills.Dashboards and Power BI experience preferred.Education & TrainingB.A./B.S. in business, logistics, operations, supply chain, or similar degreeMinimum Requirements:5+ years of related factory experience and/or training5+ years of previous of management or supervisory experienceMust have a good command of the English language, both written and verbalComputer knowledge with warehouse ERP systems, basic MS Office software.Physical Requirements/Work Environment:Position is at least 80% to 95% at a desk working with computer. Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Performs other physical activities including use of fingers, sitting, stooping, bending, crouching, talking, hearing, and performing repetitive motions.
Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision necessary to prepare and analyze data and figures, operate a computer terminal, and conduct extensive reading.
