About the Opportunity
Biscayne Staffing is recruiting for a Warehouse Operations Lead with an established distribution company in Broward County.
This is a hands-on leadership position for someone with warehouse or distribution experience who enjoys overseeing daily operations, solving problems, and improving processes.
The Operations Lead will work closely with management to ensure warehouse activities run efficiently while helping supervise staff, maintain inventory accuracy, and coordinate order fulfillment.
The company is looking for someone who can take ownership of responsibilities and grow into a larger operational leadership role over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory, returns, and order fulfillment.
- Work closely with warehouse management and employees to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, damaged merchandise, and receiving issues.
- Oversee order processing and fulfillment to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
- Help develop, document, and improve warehouse procedures and workflows.
- Train warehouse employees on operational processes and company standards.
- Monitor workflow, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
- Assist management with troubleshooting operational challenges.
- Serve as a backup to warehouse management when needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or distribution.
- Prior team lead or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with inventory management, receiving, and order fulfillment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Comfortable training employees and ensuring procedures are followed.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with both management and warehouse staff.
- Hands-on mentality with a willingness to jump in wherever needed.
