When working for Bear Down Brands, you can expect:Competitive pay with an annual bonus potentialMedical, dental and vision401k with company matchingPaid Time Off: Vacation (3 weeks), Sick and HolidaysPaid Volunteer Time Off: 2 days annuallyAnnual performance & compensation reviewGrowth and developmentCore Responsibilities:Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.Achieves financial objectives as it relates to staffing, supplies, and carriers.Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, onboarding, and training employees.Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Manage a team of 6+ managers, supervisors, and leads.Supervise a staff of 70+ associatesOversee the operation of 1 facilities as well as communicate with multiple 3PL's.Recruits, interview, hire, and trains new staffUpdate SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) wherever necessaryOversees the daily workflow of the departmentProvides constructive and timely performance evaluations.Assist with any audit whenever necessaryTraining of staff and adherence to company policiesSkills and Minimum Qualifications:At least two years related experience requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredExperience with warehousing programs required. SAP/ERP/WM/Master Data abilities strongly preferredProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Experience with Excel highly desirableExperience with Omni Channel preferredExperience with drop ship, wholesale (majors), e-commerceKnowledge of customer/vendor ComplianceExperience running a multiple facility operation, supervising 75+ employees with multiple shiftsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsMust be extremely organized with strong attention to detailAbility to multi-task with a proven ability to meet deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environmentMust be able to lift up to 15 poundsBilingual in English & Spanish highly desirableSalary Range:$80,000 - $100,000Actual base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and relevant job & industry experience.Location:This position will report to the Director of Distribution and will be working on-site at our Fullerton, CA office.Bear Down Brands is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
