A prominent manufacturer in the packaging industry is seeking a Warehouse Manager in the greater Springfield, MA area.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and supervise a team of warehouse associates and delivery drivers, managing scheduling, attendance, performance, accountability, and staffing needs.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, order fulfillment, inventory control, loading/unloading, and delivery coordination.
- Manage delivery schedules, route efficiency, and logistics to ensure accurate, on-time distribution while addressing driver callouts and operational disruptions.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics management experience, preferably within industrial distribution, packaging, building materials, or wholesale distribution.
- Proven experience supervising warehouse personnel and delivery drivers, with strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and employee development skills.
- Working knowledge of inventory management, warehouse safety, shipping/receiving procedures, and ERP/WMS systems; ability to work hands-on alongside the team as needed.
