Warehouse ManagerThe Staff Pad has partnered with a leading warehousing and logistics organization to hire an experienced Warehouse Manager for its Chicago, IL location. In this role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, lead warehouse staff, manage inventory, coordinate shipping and receiving, maintain safety and compliance, and deliver exceptional service for clients handling high-value items.Key Responsibilities:Supervise, train, and develop warehouse staffDelegate tasks, conduct performance evaluations, and support team developmentOversee shipping, receiving, packing, and storage operationsMaintain warehouse organization and optimize space utilizationEnsure accurate inventory records and shipping documentation (logs, BOLs, work orders, etc.)Manage digital inventory systems and facility inspectionsCoordinate equipment maintenance and supply orderingSupport collection management services and client projectsServe as the primary point of contact for client inquiriesPrepare shipping quotes and coordinate project logistics with internal teamsLead warehouse safety, security, and compliance initiativesOversee facility security systems and safety programsSupport operational planning, budgeting, and workflow improvementsPerform administrative duties as neededWhat We Are Looking For:Education & Experience:High school diploma required5+ years of warehouse experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory roleExperience in inventory management, moving, storage, or art handling preferredExperience handling and packing fragile, high-value itemsAdditional Skills & Attributes:Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse management softwareKnowledge of inventory management, cost analysis, and basic mathProfessional, team-oriented approach with a commitment to safety and accountabilityStrong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate projects and ensure client satisfactionAbility to lift up to 60 lbs. and perform physical warehouse dutiesIf you're a hands-on leader who enjoys building high-performing teams and driving operational excellence, we encourage you to apply and grow your career with a respected organization.
