The Staff Pad has partnered with a leading warehousingand logistics organization to hire an experienced Warehouse Manager for its Chicago,IL location.
In this role, you will oversee daily warehouseoperations, lead warehouse staff, manage inventory, coordinate shipping andreceiving, maintain safety and compliance, and deliver exceptional service forclients handling high-value items.
What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise,train, and develop warehouse staff
- Delegatetasks, conduct performance evaluations, and support team development
- Overseeshipping, receiving, packing, and storage operations
- Maintainwarehouse organization and optimize space utilization
- Ensureaccurate inventory records and shipping documentation (logs, BOLs, workorders, etc.)
- Managedigital inventory systems and facility inspections
- Coordinateequipment maintenance and supply ordering
- Supportcollection management services and client projects
- Serveas the primary point of contact for client inquiries
- Prepareshipping quotes and coordinate project logistics with internal teams
- Leadwarehouse safety, security, and compliance initiatives
- Overseefacility security systems and safety programs
- Supportoperational planning, budgeting, and workflow improvements
- Performadministrative duties as needed
What We Are Looking For
Education & Experience
- 5+years of warehouse experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role
- Experiencein inventory management, moving, storage, or art handling preferred
- Experiencehandling and packing fragile, high-value items
Additional Skills & Attributes
- Strongleadership, communication, and customer service skills
- Proficiencyin Microsoft Office and warehouse management software
- Knowledgeof inventory management, cost analysis, and basic math
- Professional,team-oriented approach with a commitment to safety and accountability
- Strongorganizational skills with the ability to coordinate projects and ensureclient satisfaction
- Abilityto lift up to 60 lbs. and perform physical warehouse duties
