Our warehouse is the engine room behind getting Tastes of Chicago products where they need to be — on time, in top condition, every day. We're looking for a Warehouse Manager who thrives on solving problems before they happen, knows how to get the best out of a team, and takes real pride in running a tight, safe, efficient operation.

What You'll Own
- Runthe day-to-day. Oversee all warehouse operations and help drive the location's financial and performance goals.
- Lead the team. Interview, hire, train, and develop team members — then keep them engaged, accountable, and growing.
- Set the standard. Model and uphold product quality, safety, and service expectations across the warehouse.
- Manage the numbers. Balance labor to budget, explain variances daily, and help hit income, cost, and sales targets.
- Keep things stocked and moving. Oversee inventory,purchasing, and receiving, andusewarehouse management systems to track it all.
- Build the schedule. Staffthe location efficiently and cost-effectively to match daily business needs.
- Maintain a safe, clean, high-functioning facility. Supervise repairs and maintenance, address safety concerns, and uphold sanitation standards andcertification requirements.
- Stay flexible. Rotate into other departments (like Production) as needed, and be available for varied hours, including holidays, when the businessrequiresit.
- Communicate up and down. Give your supervisortimelyfeedback on service issues or concerns, attend regular team meetings, and delegate effectively whenappropriate.
What You Bring
- 2–3 years of warehouse or distribution center experience
- High school diploma or GEDrequired; bachelor's degree a plus
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and get results through a team
- Comfort working in computer-based warehouse management systems
- Strong communicationskills with both team members and customers
- A problem-solver's mindset — especially around conflict resolution and continuous improvement
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; bilingual (Spanish) a plus
- Willingness to work extended or varied hours, including holidays, as the business demands
Physical Requirements
- Ability to move freely throughout the warehouse, including production and support areas
- Ability to stand approximately 90% of the workday, with frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and climbing
- Ability to lift and move goods weighing up to 80 pounds
- Manual dexterity for warehouse equipment and tools
