Position Overview
An established HVAC company in Farmingdale, NY, is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Warehouse / Inventory Control Specialist to support daily warehouse operations and maintain accurate inventory records. This individual will be responsible for receiving shipments, stocking and organizing HVAC equipment and supplies, entering inventory information into the company’s software system, and ensuring materials are readily available for technicians and field teams.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, comfortable working with computers and inventory management systems, and takes pride in maintaining an organized warehouse and accurate inventory. Experience in the HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction, or mechanical services industry is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments of HVAC equipment, parts, tools, and supplies, verifying quantities against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect deliveries for damage, missing items, and discrepancies, and communicate any issues to the appropriate team members.
- Accurately enter received materials, inventory updates, transfers, and adjustments into the company’s inventory management software. xhqgsiq
- Organize, label, and stock materials in designated warehouse locations to ensure easy identification and accessibility.
