Warehouse GeneralistRandolph AFB Base Supply Center - Randolph AFB, TX 78150Job SummaryThe Warehouse Generalist will work closely with all store personnel. They will assist in distributing, preparing, shipping, receiving, stocking and making deliveries. Will ensure materials are sorted and stored in the warehouse or stocked on shelves as needed.

Will account for all merchandise delivered to customers and get proof of acceptance of these products.Job Functions and ResponsibilitiesReceive documents from carrier and verify amounts. Record amounts of materials received in POS computer systemKeep shelves stocked with merchandise for customer purchasePromptly delivers product to customers using a box truck or other vehicleVerifies items to be delivered and obtains proof of delivery from customersPrepares, packages and ships ordersEnsures work area is clean and organized.Records details of delivers by accurately maintaining the delivery logEnsures vehicle is serviced as requiredAssists with annual inventoriesAssists in resolving problems concerning warehousing, shipping, receiving and issuingAssists in maintaining accurate inventory controls and inventory recordsOther duties as assignedDemonstrates and embodies our values: Be Limitless, Be Resilient, Be a Team, Be People Centered and Be TrustworthyQualificationsEducation/Experience:High school diploma or equivalent requiredOne year of warehousing experienceSkills/Abilities:Knowledge of basic mathAbility to speak and write EnglishAbility to operate forklift, pallet jacks, and dolliesValid Driver's LicenseClean Driving RecordCertification of Forklift operations (Reach Truck and 3-Wheel Forklift) is required of all warehouse personnel, within 90 days.Ability to operate a computer and software, including UPS and Federal ExpressPhysical Requirements:Must be able to sit, stand, stoop and bend for prolonged periods of timeMust be able to lift 25 pounds or moreMust be able to conduct repetitive motions on a daily basisPlease note: Under the AbilityOne Program, Vibrant Works gives hiring preference to individuals who are legally blind.
