We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Forklift Operator to support manufacturing operations by moving raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods throughout the facility. This role plays a critical part in keeping production lines supplied, shipments on schedule, and inventory accurate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pull and stage materials for production and outbound shipments
- Move raw materials and finished goods between production and warehouse locations
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift
- Receive inbound materials and ensure accurate put-away
- Use handheld scanners and inventory systems to track material movement
- Identify and troubleshoot inventory discrepancies
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and staging areas
- Support production and warehouse teams during downtime as needed
- Forklift experience required (manufacturing or industrial setting preferred)
- 1+ year of warehouse or material handling experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with inventory control systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and work on a concrete floor for extended periods
- Fast-paced production and warehouse setting
- PPE required at all times: steel-toe boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, and other site-specific PPE
- Regular interaction with production equipment and moving machinery
- Directly supports production uptime and on-time shipping
- Critical link between manufacturing, inventory, and logistics
