Warehouse ClerkEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Perform all duties as assigned by immediate Supervisor/Manager/Director.Stocking and DeliveriesReceives and assists drivers in unloading incoming freight items and packagesVerifies shipment are received and in good conditionInform the appropriate departments of a freight delivery for coordination with Logistics for deliveryMaintain and perform basic repairs to warehouse equipment and report any problems to supervisor in a timely mannerDelivery UPS, USPS, FedEx, Amazon, DHL and other shipping vendors to appropriate departments and obtain proof of deliveryCoordinate the boxes and skids received for temporary or permanent storage in the warehouse and on the dockAssist with the processing of incoming and outgoing mail and delivery to the Emmitsburg USPSAssist with the sorting, package preparation, entering in the tracking system and dispensing packages and mail to studentsPrepare outgoing UPS (and other shipping vendors) for shipment via packing items and preparing outgoing labelsMaintain some of the basic warehouse items used by Campus Environment and the rest of the campusJob Requirements: Education, Experience and Skills:Ability to use computer (Windows)Must be able to read, write and perform basic math skillsMust be able to lift 65 poundsMust be able to work well with othersWarehouse or shipping experienceVehicle UsageHave a valid driver's licenseUsage of University vehicle to make all deliveries (van or car)Ensure vehicle is fueled, snow removed and is functioning properlyReport any vehicle issues to supervisorsOperate forklift and pallet jackSalary/Benefits:Minimum Pay Rate: $15.00/hourThis full-time position includes a comprehensive benefits package, featuring annual, holiday, and sick leave.
