WarehouseQPS Employment Group is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. This role is responsible for handling materials, verifying inventory accuracy, and preparing products for shipment. This is a potential to hire role in Cedar Rapids, IA.Warehouse responsibilities include but are not limited to:Load and unload materials manually or using warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacksReceive, store, and move incoming materials, products, and equipmentPick, pack, and prepare materials for outbound shipmentsMaintain clean, organized warehouse and storage areas in accordance with safety and housekeeping standardsVerify inventory accuracy by comparing physical stock to system records and investigating discrepanciesAssist with packaging, quality control, and shipping processesFollow all company safety policies, procedures, and operational guidelinesWarehouse requirements:Ability to read and interpret written and verbal work instructionsStrong verbal and written communication skillsExperience in packaging, picking, quality assurance/control, and shippingGood manual dexterity and strong attention to detailWillingness to train on forklift operation and inventory control systemsAbility to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basisAbility to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shiftEquipment used include forklift, pallet jack, and standard warehouse tools (training provided as needed)Assigned warehouse and storage zonesMay include occasional overtime based on operational needsQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
