Warehouse AssociateWESTFIELD, IN Immediately Temporary/ContractDescriptionCome create your career with VoltVolt is immediately hiring a Warehouse Associate in Westfield, IN 46074As a Warehouse Associate, you will:Perform material movement activities within the warehouse.Load and unload trucks, trailers, and shipments safely and efficiently.Process receiving, put-away, stock transfers, and material requests.Pick, pack, and prepare materials for production and customer requirements.Conduct cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.Utilize ERP systems to track inventory and material transactions.Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies using root cause analysis.Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, stretch wrappers, and other warehouse equipment (with required certification/training).Support continuous improvement initiatives related to warehouse processes and material flow.Assist in training new warehouse associates as required.Maintain compliance with safety, quality, GMP, ISO, FDA, and company standards.Promote teamwork and a positive work environment.This is a full time, contract opportunity.Schedule: 1st Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM Monday to Friday2nd Shift: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM Monday to FridayThe ideal candidate will have:High school diploma or equivalent is required.Experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution, inventory control, shipping & receiving, or material handling.Knowledge of inventory management and warehouse processes.Experience using ERP or warehouse management systems preferred.Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred Skills & QualificationsForklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment.Experience in manufacturing, medical device, pharmaceutical, or regulated environments.Knowledge of GMP, ISO, or FDA-regulated processes.Pay Rate: $20.00 - $23.21 per hour.*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Benefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
