This role is Summit's entry level branch position and an excellent role to be introduced to the business and learn skills, product knowledge, and industry best practices that prepare the associate for future opportunities at Summit.Principle Accountabilities:Pull customer tickets to fulfill orders.Prepare orders for shipment to customers.Load and unload Summit trucks.Receive and stock products on a daily basis to replenish inventory.Understand products and their capabilities and warranties.Assist sales associates in fulfilling customer orders when necessary.Ensure warehouse and respective outside areas are neat and clean at all times.Maintaining safe practices and proactively upholds Summit's commitment to a safe workplace.Essential Qualifications and Experience:High school diploma or equivalentTime management – strong ability to organize and manage multiple prioritiesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and writtenFlexibility – ability to effectively adapt to changeStrong customer service orientationBeneficial Skills and Experience:Previous warehouse experienceAbility to perform duties with minimal supervisionAptitude for learningPhysical Challenges:Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basisAbility to operate standard warehouse equipmentPre-employment assessments, drug, and background screens are administered.
