This person will need to be able to work safely and quickly, standing for long periods while fulfilling orders.Experience is not required, and on-the-job training is available.Responsibilities:Pick-Up Orders: Assisting customers in loading and securing their pick-up ordersInventory: Unloading and back stocking merchandiseDelivery Prep: Pulling merchandise for outgoing deliveries from warehouseAssembly: Slight assembly of product to go to the showroomSafety and housekeeping: Ensure a safe warehouse environment by keeping an organized and clean area. Disposing of any trash and perform other related duties as assigned.Who We're Looking For:Friendly/Customer service mindedIndividuals who work at a fast paceRequirements:Must be able to bend, stand, reach, pull, lift and carry items in the warehouseMust work weekendsNo prior experience requiredBasic materials handling skillsUnderstanding of safety regulations, including OSHA standardsAbility to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks (training provided)Mechanical knowledge and heavy lifting capability are advantageousWillingness to learn inventory management and warehouse operationsAbout Sam's Furniture:Sam's Furniture was established in 1994 and is Northwest Arkansas' largest furniture destination.
