Warehouse AssociateThe Warehouse Associate at Cornerstone Building Brands is responsible for overseeing the daily warehouse operations. This role combines hands-on operational and workflow oversight to ensure efficiency, safety, and accuracy.Monitor daily workflow, assign tasks, and adjust priorities as needed to meet customer demands and shipping schedules.Safe forklift operation, SOP compliance, and equipment use.Support a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and safety.Pull, stage, and load orders onto truck trailers using forklifts.Oversee and participate in both warehouse and yard operations.Ensure all tasks are performed in accordance with established SOPs, safety protocols, and quality standards.Perform and verify completion of daily equipment checks and maintenance reporting.Support accurate inventory management and documentation to reduce errors and shipping variances.Minimum 3 months of warehouse experience, including qualified forklift operation (sit-down and stand-up).Yard tractor or Drexel experience a plus.Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, and documentation.Ability to read, write, and perform basic math skills required for warehouse tasks.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices and fostering a team safety culture.Regular lifting and handling of materials up to 50 lbsFrequent standing, walking, bending, reaching (including overhead), and twistingUse of hands and fingers for threading machines, pressing buttons, and handling materialsOccasional squatting, ladder and stair climbingOperation of material handling equipment such as forkliftsPushing/pulling loads (with equipment assistance), up to 275 lbsRequires visual acuity, depth perception, hearing, and effective communicationManufacturing plant setting with exposure to moderate to high noise levels (hearing protection required)Potential exposure to heat, cold, dust, chemicals, and damp conditionsUse of personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed shoes, hearing protection, and hard hatsOccasional work at heights over 4 feetRotating shift work and a fast-paced, production-based environment with performance expectations
