Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate who is eager to grow with a reputable company in San Diego. This role is for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of warehouse operations. This position is temporary to hire and offers competitive pay.
Responsibilities
Order Picking:
Locate and pull items from shelves based on picking sheets, verifying part numbers, quantities, and item descriptions.
Packing & Shipping:
Pack orders securely with proper cushioning to avoid transit damage, seal boxes, apply shipping labels, and prepare items for shipment.
Inventory & Safety:
Update inventory systems after picking, maintain accurate stock counts, and operate equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) in compliance with safety regulations.
Load, Unload Shipments:
Receive stocking shipments and place them in correct locations, load shipments onto trucks when necessary.
Logistics Support:
Assist with general warehouse maintenance and cleaning, inventory location maintenance, etc.
Qualifications
ERP Experience:
Ideally Sage 100.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to lift 35-60 lbs, stand, and walk for long shifts.
Detail-Oriented:
High accuracy in reading orders and picking correct items.
Technical Literacy:
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), scanners, and computers.
Safety Awareness:
Knowledge of OSHA or company safety regulations.
Required Work Hours
Monday to Friday, 1st shift 7:00am-3:30pm
Additional Details
This is a temporary to hire position with a pay range of $20 to $23 per hour.
Must have reliable transportation and have the ability to commute to Poway/Miramar area
