You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, verifying shipments, operating warehouse equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized dock area.Responsibilities:Loading and Unloading: Efficiently load and unload cargo from trucks and within the warehouse.Shipment Verification: Inspect and verify the contents of shipments against bills of lading or invoices, ensuring accuracy.Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move freight.Dock Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the dock area, ensuring a safe working environment.Packaging and Wrapping: Package and wrap goods appropriately for transport, preventing damage.Record Keeping: Record cargo information, including weight, charges, and any damages, accurately.Communication: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate loading and unloading operations and ensure smooth workflow.Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Qualifications:Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and moving heavy objects.Forklift experience is helpful, but not necessary.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Good communication skills.Reliable and punctual.Benefits:Competitive hourly wage with production pay incentives.Consistent Monday-Friday schedule.No weekend work.
