Warehouse Associate
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, including order picking, inventory handling, shipping, and receiving. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced warehouse environment that requires forklift experience, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physical work throughout the shift. Please note: This facility is not climate controlled and can become very hot during the summer months.
Responsibilities:
- Pull and prepare customer orders accurately for shipment
- Move picked materials to designated staging areas
- Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming inventory
- Put away materials and maintain organized inventory locations as needed
- Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently
- Read and follow pick orders and work instructions to ensure order accuracy
- Assist with general material handling and warehouse operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and safe warehouse environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of recent, consistent warehouse experience
- 6 months to 1 year of sit-down forklift experience
- Ability to read and understand pick orders and work instructions
- Ability to lift 25–40 lbs regularly
- Ability to bend, twist, pull, lift, and stand for the duration of the shift
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management
- Ability to quickly learn products, warehouse layouts, and inventory processes
- Experience working in distribution, industrial, or warehouse environments
