In this role, you'll handle day to day inventory operations —from receiving through final shipment—while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, safety, and organization. This position offers the opportunity to develop expertise in modern warehouse technologies and advance within a growing organization that values reliability and continuous improvement.Responsibilities Warehouse Associate:Inventory Management & Processing - Receive, bin, and ship orders using barcode/RFID scanning technology while managing purchase orders and transfers with precisionEquipment Operation - Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, with daily pre-trip inspections and proper safety protocolsWarehouse Organization - Maintain systematic storage operations, stage orders for shipment, and ensure accurate product placement throughout the facilitySystem Management - Process inventory through warehouse management systems and shipping/receiving software with meticulous attention to detailCross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with Store Associates and Sales Managers while consistently adhering to OSHA guidelines and company safety standardsQuality Control - Execute accurate picking, packing, and documentation while addressing discrepancies and operational issuesPerformance Standards - Meet productivity targets and deadlines while maintaining consistent attendance and punctualityOther duties as assigned.Qualifications of a Warehouse Associate:2-3 years of warehouse or logistics operational experienceProficiency with inventory management systems and handheld scanning devices (barcode/RFID)Computer literacy and basic math skillsPhysical ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periodsManual dexterity to handle packages, operate equipment, and use tools effectivelyMobility to navigate warehouse spaces, climb ladders, and bend/reach as neededStrong attention to detail with reliable and punctual work habitsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsProblem-solving abilities and commitment to safety protocolsForklift certification preferredThere's No Place like Homans:Competitive payCareer growth opportunitiesMedical, dental & vision401k planPaid time offHealth Savings AccountEmployee assistance programCompany-paid life insuranceWellness programsStock purchase plan
